JOE FARRIS, DC
Dr. Joe Farris, native of Shinnson, West Virginia, is a sports chiropractor. After earning a bachelor’s degree at West Virginia Wesleyan College in exercise science, he attended New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) where he earned his doctor of chiropractic degree. While at NYCC, Dr. Farris served as Vice President of the Rehabilitation to Performance club. In addition to the required clinical services at NYCC, he gained additional sports chiropractic experience while treating athletes of the Elmira Pioneers baseball team and runners of the Montezuma half marathon. With these experiences and lifelong history as an athlete, he is passionate about treating athletes of all walks and backgrounds.
Dr. Joe maximized his time while at NYCC by attending multiple seminars that focused on soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation services to optimize the function of his patients as a whole. Dr. Farris utilizes Active Release Technique (ART), Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) via RockTape, and chiropractic adjustments. Whether a weekend warrior, professional athlete, or avid CrossFitter, he strives to treat the patient as a whole and not hone in on singular symptoms. Dr. Joe aims to remedy dysfunction above all and educate all of his patients on proper biomechanics to achieve patient goals as quickly as possible.
Dr. Farris is excited about relocating to the West Coast and enjoying all the state of Washington has to offer. Outside of work, Dr. Joe enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, playing a variety of sports, drinking coffee, and weightlifting.
