Kinetic Learning Event_004 - Prevention for Skiers & Snowboarders

While Preparation was about getting our entire body prepared for the season, Prevention is about strengthening our most commonly injured areas. For skiing and snowboarding, that's the knees. We'll focus on strengthening the knee/ACL, but also cover upper body areas like shoulders and lower back.

  • WHAT: Strengthen the commonly injured areas so you can be out there all season long!
  • WHEN: Prevention will be Tuesday, 01/10 from 7 – 8p
  • WHERE: Kinetic Sports Rehab - Fremont; 701 N 36th St Suite# 430, Seattle, WA 98103
  • COST: $10 each class. You’ll receive a $10 gift card to Evo and lift ticket to Stevens Pass for each class you attend.

Preparation is the first of the three part Kinetic Learning Event - Preparation, Prevention, and Recovery for Skiers & Snowboarders we're putting on in partnership with Evo Seattle!

Kinetic Learning Event_002 - Stronger Breathing for a Stronger Body

Be it pilates, CrossFit, running, snowboarding, cycling - anything - breathing is one of the most important elements of any activity!

Often overlooked, when we breath, we are subconsciously exercising muscles around our lungs - the core.

Integrating mindful breathing while exercising can improve the utilization of the intrinsic core; stronger breathing leads to a stronger body!

Ever wonder what kinesiology Tape is and what it actually does? Already know what it is, but wish you knew how to properly apply it? Then this is the class for you! We'll go over all the basics - from what kinesiology tape is, to why it's important to CrossFitters, to learning how to apply it.
